Centro Hispano En Jonesboro

The Hispanic Emerging Leaders Program (H.E.L.P.) held their last session today. The group participated in an escape room at Team Escape in Jonesboro. This tested the team building skills that they had worked to improve over the different sessions.
After the activity the students attended a graduation ceremony at El Centro Hispano in which they were presented certificates of participation. We'd like to congratulate Alan Romero and Stephanie Garcia for receiving the H.E.L.P. student scholarship which they can use towards their college career. We'd like to thank all of the students that participated in the second year of the program. Special thanks to the Arkansas Community Foundation, Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, United Way and Craighead County Community Foundation for their support to make this program possible for our Hispanic youth!

This is a great way to support the center as these fundraisers help with our daily operational costs, including our free after school tutoring program.
